According to Who?

The New Year is soon approaching and oh what a year 2023 has been pours glass of wine….

Now is the time when people begin to think about their resolutions, the victories and the challenges. Did you set intentions this year? If so, how’s it going? No judgment.

We are doing a dance with life. Finding the rhythm takes time. Oh, and life changes the rhythm when it chooses to. She is such a Diva!

We live in a perfectionistic society that is constantly telling us to do more, to achieve more and to give more. MORE MORE MORE!

When are the offerings that we give ever enough?

It is no coincidence that the U.S. is at the top of the poll when it comes to mental health disparities, specifically anxiety and depression. The numbers are alarming and it seems as if people are yearning for help.

Why is being overworked and overstimulated normalized? It’s as if people wear being stressed as a badge of honor.

The reality is that silently, we remove years from our lives when we do not give our minds and our bodies the opportunity to maintain homeostasis. We are beings that require rest and regulation. Operating within the energy of tension is exhausting.

Constantly, the brain and the body are responding to external stimuli, and they can become addicted to the adrenaline rush that is accompanied by pressure. As a result, physical and mental ailments can occur. We deserve so much more!

Here is the AH Ha, we can still achieve our goals if we approach them with ease, balance and alignment. Our cells and our organs will thank us!

Now, I know that many of us are contemplating our next moves for the new year. Amazing! One of the most incredible wonders about life is that we have the power to Evolve. Instinctively, we are wired to progress, and we can be gentle with ourselves along the way.

It has been said that there are 12 Universal Laws:

  1. The Universal Law of Divine Oneness

  2. The Universal Law of Vibration

  3. The Universal Law of Correspondence or Repeating Patterns

  4. The Universal Law of Attraction

  5. The Universal Law of Inspired Action

  6. The Universal Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy

  7. The Universal Law of Cause and Effect

  8. The Universal Law of Compensation

  9. The Universal Law of Relativity

  10. The Universal Law of Polarity

  11. The Universal Law of Perpetual Motion or of Rhythm

  12. The Law of Giving and Receiving

Each law suggests that there are PROCESSES. Natural order can be avoided, but it cannot be eliminated. If we allow it, processes can teach us some very valuable lessons along the way. Step by Step.

Let’s take our time and pay attention to the details. There we will find yummy


Rome was not built in a day Dear Friends. As the New Year prepares to take flight, I encourage you to Set the Tone.

Below are a few tips that can assist you with cultivating and with maintaining a successful year.

  1. Give yourself Grace: Never underestimate the power of making a mistake. The probability of Human Error is to be expected, especially when we are doing something that has never been done before. Give yourself the space to learn from the inaccuracies. Failure is an indication that you are trying and that deserves to be celebrated. Be Kind. Be Gentle. Be Graceful. To Yourself.

  2. Be in the Moment: Make time your B@*#H. Slow it down if necessary. Take the time to smell the roses and to acknowledge your progress. Pause along the journey towards your goals and observe yourself. Do honest assessments of your tactics and behaviors Shift when necessary. Remember, that each step is a step that is getting you closer to what it is that you will manifest!

  3. Set Realistic Objectives: Do an honest evaluation of yourself and your life before setting your goals and resolutions. What do you have the capacity to do right now? No need to over-achieve. Be in alignment mind, body and spirit with what it is that you want! If it takes time for you to get into gear, that is ok! Your incredible and wonderful status will not change if you choose to set goals that do not require that you overexert your energy.
